A cartridge actuated device designed to sever electrical cable, wire rope, parachute reefing lines, pipe, and the like, by utilizing a cartridge to actuate the cutting blade. In operation the device may be affixed and controlled by automatic, remote control, or manual methods. Also, these items may be suitable for use underwater.
